Liz Moore is an award-winning, bestselling author and television screenwriter and producer. Over her prolific, two-decade career as an author, Moore has established herself as a virtuoso of the literary thriller, known for her intricate plots, complex characters, and ability to upend expectations. Moore serves as co-creator, executive producer and co-writer of the Peacock and Sony Pictures Television project, starring Academy Award®-nominated, Emmy Award-winning actor Amanda Seyfried. Her novel The God of the Woods is in development for Netflix with Moore and Liz Hannah serving as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers. Moore's novel The Unseen World has also been optioned by Sony for development as television series.
A winner of the Rome Prize in Literature, a nominee for an Edgar Award and an LA Times Book Prize, and the Director of the MFA program in Creative Writing at Temple University, Moore lives in Philadelphia with her family.
